5 Witchcraft Suspects Arrested In Vihiga Featured

Five people are being held by police at Mudebe Police station Vihiga County on suspicion of practicing witchcraft.

The five were arrested Saturday morning in Chamakanga area in Vihiga County in possession of witchcraft related items.

They were arrested by police on patrol when they defied orders to stop and started running.

The police caught up with them and found the items.

Area administration police boss Patrick Wambua confirmed the incident and said the suspects had confessed to using the items for witchcraft purposes, saying that they get the items from Nairobi.

The five will be arraigned in court on Monday to answer charges of practicing with witchcraft.
