Mutula Kilonzo’s Final Send Off

The late Makueni Senator and former Cabinet Minister Mutula Kilonzo was on Thursday laid to rest at his ancestral home in Mbooni Constituency which he represented in the last parliament. The burial ceremony was attended by thousands of mourners who thronged Wuyaani Village to pay their last respect to the accomplished lawyer and leader who was found dead in his bed about two weeks ago. President Uhuru Kenyatta, retired President Mwai Kibaki and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga as well as former vice president eulogized the late Kilonzo as a charismatic leader whose contribution will be greatly missed.
