Man Kills, Cooks Wife

A 68 year old man, Frederick Hengl, allegedly killed and cooked his 73 year old wife in Oceanside, California.

The man, said to be a notorious cross dresser, is believed to have committed the heinous act between the 1st and 16th  of this month.

A police officer entered the home through the window only to find, what was later confirmed as body parts, stewing in three pans. Neighbors had been complaining about a foul smell coming from the house which prompted the search into the house.

Anna Faris’(the wife) head was later discovered in the freezer. Many pieces of freshly cut bone were found around the home.

Hengl appeared in court yesterday (Wednesday) and pleaded not guilty to first degree murder, willful cruelty to an elder, committing an unlawful act with human remains among other charges.

If convicted, he faces 25 years to life imprisonment. He remains jailed after failing to pay a cash bail of five million dollars.

This comes three years after a chef killed his wife and cooked her body for four days in Los Angeles.

The 49 year old David Viens said that he duct-taped her mouth and tied her hands after an argument then slept.

He found her dead the following morning and panicked so he stuffed her body in a drum filled with boiling water and boiled her for four days.

He disposed of the body remains but hid her skull in the attic in his mothers’ house.

Viens was convicted of second degree murder.
